I was in a painting slump, having accomplished nothing in April and only three small greeting cards in all of May & June.
So, I was very much looking forward to EmJ Lefebvre’s online World Watercolour Month Challenge in July. She offers daily 10-15 minute tutorials on the basics of watercolour suitable for beginners or anyone who wants to practice basic skills and/or needs a refresher.

Something very important that I learned is how much atmospheric conditions affect watercolour painting — excessive heat and ceiling fans are NOT kind to this particular art.
It will be nice to have that journal as you continue your journey with watercolour. (Heat and ceiling fans don’t enhance the acrylic painting experience either.)
