Discounts from suppliers.  Members are recognized with discounts from Hamster (Alexandria) & Dempster’s Frameworks (Cornwall) as well as special deals from Hachem (Laval).

Hamster in Alexandria offers member discounts on art supplies & will order materials as needed. Sylvain is stocking very good quality canvas & cradled boards, a broad supply of student-grade Pebeo paints & will order Golden, etc. Hamster (Papeterie Alexandria Stationery) stocks a variety of art supplies, including high-quality, Canadian-made canvases by Gotrick. 

They are willing to order anything they don’t stock and offer a 10 % discount (on art supplies only) to Collectif members.  The more art supplies they sell, the more they will be able to keep in stock.  Shopping locally when possible is good for us all!

Artist Promotion We’re keen to celebrate our members. Let us know of shows you’re participating in, courses you’re giving, accolades you’ve acquired, works published. If it is member creativity related, we’ll promote it on this website. Send blurb (and an image) to cagac.ca@gmail.com

Community Engagement We’ve created four murals for the Township & conferred on another in Maxville. The most recent mural was unveiled in Mill Square, Alexandria in 2023.
