Visitors’ words of wisdom

I had to capture, not the visitors, but their feelings and emotions. For that, I had prepared an alphabet of prompt words, yet most of the guests didn’t need any. Please enjoy this bilingual cocktail of last impressions, yet lasting 

Ce musée a quelque chose de spécial, il représente Glengarry. Notre art aussi.

I love the breeze going through the pavilion.

The old school is intimate. One door to get in and one to get out. 

            The art is fantastic, the place works well.

The Collectif is a community. It enriches the community.

            The Collectif is a tight cooperative, supportive, welcoming group.

Ce que j’aime beaucoup avec le Collectif : chaque œuvre est différente.

            I’m disheartened it’s closing. It’s been quite a ride.

Enthusiastically, we’re amazed at the variety of talent.

            The Collectif has represented Community.

You have created a legacy.

Pourquoi fermez-vous? C’est dommage ! C’est l’occasion d’expliquer les raisons.

It was a wonderful occurrence of serendipity that the members of the Collectif managed to find each other and come together, way out here way out in the country, far away from large cities.

Hohoho! Yvonne always has a joke – or two. 

I knew some artists. I’m glad I can finally put names to faces.

Imagine: oh, je dois penser ! 

Juvenile ! Souvent, c’est là, la source de la joie.

Be mindfull of your surroundings and friendship will follow. 

L’art, c’est libérant. 

Sometimes, I feel like a killer. Yes, sometimes, I kill my paintings.

One of the unexpected effects of art is to stimulate the mindfulness of the visitors, about things that would otherwise go unnoticed.

The more life experience you have, the better you art will be.

What an eclectic mix! Different styles and media.
