I was given alcohol inks Christmas 2024 by my granddaughter. I felt I should do something with them before THIS Christmas (2025). [Post was submitted December 2025, we had several articles in the pipeline. Ed.]
I dropped a lot of ink over the December 2025 picture on a calendar I was given. Well, I had no idea what I was doing so the result is not inspiring. Except, I have decided to do something on each month of the new calendar (from the Insurance company).

I’ve gessoed January already and I’ll get to that over my holiday. Even if it’s not great art, it improves the calendar.
What I have learned from using alcohol inks:
WEAR GLOVES. 👍
[We had enough submissions in the pipeline to share the January. Ed.]
January. This is the result of my sorting and tossing my massive Collage pile!
