As we look around our surroundings, sometimes Nature adds a little drama.
Stepping out my front door the cold morn of 20 November, I was looking at the hoar frost on the red branches cut from the fields to go into the planters. Every branch was covered with this frost, with interesting light shining through till late, when the sun appeared for a bit. If you touched it the ice fell off.
I thought it was very pretty, and was sorry I had not had a chance to put on the round Christmas balls! Would have been interesting to see how they’d turn out. It’s not something you could paint; folks would not believe it. But a camera captures the beauty of nature showing off for few hours.
