Seaway Valley Music Academy was looking for local artists to show in their beautiful office and studio. 

A chance I was delighted to seize. It’s a great opportunity:

– to create new works with a deadline. 

– to connect with another audience.

– to explore a new space

– to get feedback on your work – I always ask the visitors to vote for their favourite.

On Feb. 3, one of the co-owners of the Academy, Katie Ditschun – a song-writer, singer who is close to The Collectif, and lives in Alexandria – helped me hang 16 stamp collages, most of them recent.

Elle avait préparé une mini bio et installé mes livres French toast & pain perdu, recettes d’Alexandria, sur la même étagère. En moins d’une heure, les tableaux de bois colorés animaient les locaux. 
Que demander de plus qu’un bon accueil et quelques discussions instructives ?
