Collectif Creativity: 7Aug2023

By Olga Harhaj

I usually take the summer off from painting so I can enjoy some of my other activities and hobbies. So thought I’d share a few of my older paintings, from about 30 to 35 years ago, when I first dabbled in watercolour before moving on to oil painting.

I found watercolor to be a harder medium but enjoyed using it to create effects not achieved with oil. I also wanted to show my husband, Walter, that I was able to paint in watercolour, which is his preferred medium.

Some of these images are from photos taken in the 80’s, the paintings sold decades ago! So the quality is not as good as when I was able to use my digital camera. But they give an idea of the work.

Share your creative activities and/or process! Send JPG image(s) to cagac.ca@gmail.com with up to 100 words per image describing some or all of what moved you to spend time thinking about and producing . . . something! Share how/if creativity affects (controls?) your life. Please include size (height by width), title & media for each image.

Writers – we want to hear from you! Send poetry, lyrics, an excerpt. Try to include an image of some sort because that’s the media world we live in.

Everyone, share informative, inspiring Show & Tell demonstrating the creative mind.
